Flav City – Awesome resource for meal prep and recipes, as well as Bobby’s famous Costco ingredient explanation videos. Also has an app to check for Bobby Approved clean foods.

Food Babe – Vani, the Food Babe, exposes hidden nasty ingredients in fast, packaged, and processed foods. She has lots of clean recipes to try!

Food for Breast Cancer – This website has been my not-so-little foodie bible while navigating diet from breast cancer diagnosis through treatment + maintenance.

Glucose Goddess – Jessie is a biochemist who makes blood sugar and preventing spikes so much easier to understand. She also gives tips to control spikes by what order you eat your food types, and incorporating movement after.

Kris CarrNew York Times bestselling author and wellness leader, who’s been thriving with stage IV cancer for more than 20 years. Also has lots of clean healthy recipes to try.

National Center for Biotechnology – a program of the National Institute of Health, the NCBI website provides access to scientific literature and published medical studies, including natural and medicinal anti-cancer compounds.

QUICK TIPS

Increase whole plant-based food and dietary fiber, without breaking the bank or adding toxins

  • always check ingredients for hidden crappy oils/sugar

  • eat a variety of fresh or frozen veggies with every meal

  • buy more fresh produce when it’s in season

  • thoroughly rise produce, even if it says pre-washed

  • choose organic chicken, turkey, and produce

  • to stabilize glucose, eat in order: veggies, protein, grain

  • take a quick 10 min walk 15-20 mins after lunch/dinner

  • make a list of must have healthy ingredients to always have on hand

  • don’t use crappy oils, especially: canola, corn, peanut, safflower, soy, sunflower, palm oil

  • never ever heat/store hot food in plastic or styrafoam

  • don’t assume packaged natural food products are clean

  • never farm raised fish, always wild caught

  • don’t use high heat cooking methods: grill, fry, broil, etc

  • no refined sugars, instead sweeten with whole fruits

  • don’t eat foods/supplements that interact with any medications you’re taking
